The Guest House

Beluga House is located in Westcliff, one of the most beautiful areas of Hermanus. As our guest you are able to watch the enormous whales from the scenic cliff paths across the street and at the same time you are only 5 minutes’ walk from town centre.

All the rooms at the guest house are en-suite and on ground level. At Beluga House we try to blend a stylish Scandinavian design with the South African relaxed ambience, to create a kind of casual luxury.

The focal point is our private 5×10 meter swimming pool. As a guest you are welcome to enjoy it all day long. Take a refreshing swim, play with the pool toys or just laze in one of the sun loungers around it.

The decking and the garden area by the pool provide the perfect spot for unwinding after a day’s adventure. Relax by the lemon tree and perhaps start reading a new book? Or why not challenge your travelling partner in a game of Back Gammon? You’ll find a book exchange and different games for lend at the reception.

A bit later in the day our cosy outdoor room makes an ideal setting for a chat over a glass of nice wine from our valley. Our “honesty bar” is always available to our guests.
